 Basic English Review- pgs. 25-32 (Abbreviations, contractions, Their, They're and There)

Period 7  Current Events 7-8
 Scholastic News Magazine:  Titanic, Cross at Your Own Risk, Slime in Space, World's Ugliest Dog, and Should Kids Have to take Gym Class,  Read, discuss, watch feature videos, complete related vocab. and comprehension activities.



Period 8- Current Events 9-10: Students will utilize sources such as the local newspaper, CNN 10, Newsela articles, TeenKidsNews, etc, to explore/discuss current events through a variety of vocabulary and comprehension activities.
