This year I will be co-teaching with Miss Frank for periods 3 and 4, Intensive Reading 7.I will also be teaching with Miss Zangari during period 6B, English 8

Finish Unit on Reading Strategies and Literary Elements: Make sure all Exercises are completed and corrected. Begin "The Picture of Dorian Gray" Chapters: Two Very Different Friends, The Wish, Dorian in Love, and Prince Charming and the Actress
Read, discuss, and complete related vocab. and comprehension activities.

Period 2- English 9-12
Daily:  Daily Warm Up Language Series
Up with Language Series: Punctuation (Finish Review), Begin Nouns and Pronouns (Recognition, Concrete/Abstract, and Signals)

Period 7- Current Events 7-8
Finish Reading A-Z: Jack O'Lanterns Unit. 
Scholastic News: Bat Rescue, Debate It: Allow Halloween Costumes at School? Mummy Mystery
Complete related vocab. and comprehension activities, test on magazine articles on Friday

Period 8- Current Events 9-12
Channel One News- Students view Channel One News Daily, classroom discussion points occur daily based on current news topics within the newscast, Word of the Day focus within each newscast; Weekly News Portfolio completion
Friday: 5 question multiple choice quiz on daily newscasts

Channel One News- Students view Channel One News Daily, classroom discussion points occur daily based on current news topics within the newscast, Word of the Day focus within each newscast; Weekly News Portfolio completion
Friday: comprehension activity related to events that occurred during the month of October
