Read the following and complete related vocab. and comprehension activities: Still Unsolved: Strange Lights Over Texas, The Lost Dutchman's Mine, The Missing Divers, Death by Anthrax, and Costa Rica's Strange Spheres

Period 2- English 9-12
 
Daily:  Daily Warm Up Language Series
Begin unit on Directories and Guides pgs. 1-15


Period 7- Current Events 7-8 
Geography Spin: Have You Seen This Animal/Scholastic News: Red Nose Challenge,  Read and review materials together, complete related vocab. and comprehension activities.

Period 8- Current Events 9-12
Channel One News- Students view Channel One News Daily, classroom discussion points occur daily based on current news topics within the newscast, Word of the Day focus within each newscast; Weekly News Portfolio completion
Friday- 5 Question multiple choice quiz on this week's newscasts
