Begin Basic English Review- pgs. 1-10
Begin Scholastic News Magazine: I Climbed This Volcano- Go For It!, Secrets of the Statue, The Great Turtle Race, Bug Bites, Should the School Week Be Shorter?, Read, discuss, watch feature videos, complete related vocab. and comprehension activities.
Period 8- Current Events 9-10: Students will utilize sources such as the local newspaper, CNN 10, Newsela articles, TeenKidsNews, etc, to explore/discuss current events through a variety of vocabulary and comprehension activities.
